Michelle is a lifelong advocate in using creativity and connection, as powerful tools to create safe spaces to thrive and grow for all. An established background in communications, firstly leading a division of a global comms company in Ireland and then, successfully establishing her own business in Donegal. Michelle has strong expertise in supporting start-ups, engaging hard to reach learners and community development. She was elected President of Donegal Women in Business and has developed programmes, collaborating with various groups, to build skills, confidence, and sustainable opportunities. Michelle has lectured at Ulster University, ATU and teaches in Further Education, and is a Director with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship. Her commitment to social impact led her to return to study Children’s Rights, working with Barnardo’s, to embed rights-respecting communication with children and families to achieve positive, collaborative outcomes. An admirer of the Sanctuary Runners concept, Michelle has been active in health and fitness initiatives that encourage connection including establishing multiple Couch to 5Ks.
