REGISTRATION & BAGGAGE
RUN NUMBER COLLECTION
In order to take part in the event you will need to collect your race entry number. This can be collected on the morning of the race from 09:45am until 10:45am at the registration tents located adjacent to the start area.
You will get a text message to the number you provided with your race number the evening before the run and should have this message/the run number to hand when you come to the registration tent. If you do not get a message, do not worry – we will have the names and numbers posted up for you to see close to the registration tent.
BAGGAGE
Because of the number of participants in the run, it is not possible to provide changing rooms. There will be a limited baggage storage area. Please place your bag in the area allocated to your number where it will be in safekeeping until you recover it after the run. This area may not be covered from rain.
For security purposes, you will be required to show your run number in order to recover your bag. Under no circumstances should you leave valuables in your bag. While the organisers will make every effort to ensure a safe event, no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage to personal items.
T-SHIRT COLLECTION
A blue Sanctuary Runner T-shirt will be available to those who are joining a Sanctuary Runners event for the first time.
FOOTWEAR
Normal runners will be fine on the course. You may of course wear spikes if you wish.
GETTING READY TO RUN
WARM-UP
It is recommended that you commence your individual warm-up approx. 45 mins before the start time. This is to allow time for access to the toilets, access to the baggage area and to get to your assembly zone in a timely manner. Your warm-up should include some light jogging and stretching. It is important to warm up the working muscles especially if the weather is cool.
TOILET FACILITIES
There will be toilet facilities close to the start and finish line.

Please print the following information clearly on the reverse of your run number/bib:
- Name and contact number to be used in case of emergency

The course will be 2 laps of a 2.5km cross-country loop. The surface will be grass and trail and may be wet and muddy. Directional arrows and marshals will be in place to guide you along the route.
You can choose to walk to run just one lap if you like (although chip-timed racers should do both laps to be included in the race and to get a result).
MEDICAL
St John Ambulance will be providing medical cover for this run. If you have an on-going medical condition please make yourself known to a member of the St John Ambulance on site on the morning before the run commences. The medical centre will be located adjacent to the finish line.
