Global Solidarity Run 2024

The Global Solidarity Run will bring people around the world together on October 19th, 2024, to show solidarity with all those who are forcibly displaced and those living in extreme poverty.

Join us and show your solidarity with people around the world.

What is the Global Solidarity Run?

The Global Solidarity Run, organised by Sanctuary Runners, is a unique event where people can run, jog or walk any distance as part of one global team.

People around the world will come together on October 19th, 2024, in an act of global solidarity with people living through forced displacement and extreme poverty.

From Addis Ababa to Tokyo, Sydney to Toronto, New York to Pretoria and Copenhagen to Buenos Aires, people will join forces for a unique moment of global solidarity.

And across Ireland people will come together to run as groups or individuals will don blue and take to the highways and byways themselves- all with the one purpose – an act of solidarity with all those who are forcibly displaced and living in extreme poverty.

The Global Solidarity Run is an initiative by Sanctuary Runners, and supported by Irish Aid and the Ireland Funds.
